PREPARING FOR TAKEOFF

Life has really thrown the punches out lately. There are moments it feels like I can’t even breath. I press in by speaking God’s truth over my life, situation and circumstances. I envision them not as they are but as I believe they will be. That is the beauty of this walk we call FAITH. Although it doesn’t look good in the moment God has a greater plan for us (Jer. 29:11).

We can dream with Him. He will guide us (Ps. 37:23)

I had a vision of a plane sitting on the tarmac and I could see other planes taking off. Immediately I sensed that I was the plane sitting there waiting and the Lord said “I have you in a holding pattern.” As I asked the Lord more about this I sensed this was not just for me but for many in the body of Christ that have been “in the waiting.” The Lord then said “takeoff" is about to happen but don’t be discouraged while you are waiting. While on the tarmac I am preparing you for the next leg of the journey that will take you higher and accelerate you to places you never expected. While the heat of the sun beats on you while on the tarmac I am giving you fuel, I am putting the things back together that have been worn down and broken.

"You will soar on eagles wings.”

I know that many of us in the body of Christ have felt like we have not moved forward in the promises over our lives. We question why am I believing for this, what is the purpose of this all, when will it be my turn. Situations and circumstances weight us down and try to make us weary. BUT GOD! His is faithful. Not in our timing but in His. He hasn’t forgotten and in fact you can even remind Him, he doesn’t mind. He even encourages it. (Is. 43.26)

We fail to realize that delay can have a greater purpose. We can maintain peace in the delay. We can envision what is to come to bring us hope. Be encouraged, faint not.

Get ready for takeoff!
